Neko Case will be making a stop at the Greek Theatre on June 12 during the second leg of her North American tour. Jason Lytle of Grandaddy will be supporting.
Case is on the road in support of her critically acclaimed new album Middle Cyclone. The New York Times Magazine praised her voice as “a force of nature" and The New Yorker has called Middle Cyclone "'the best album of her career by a generous margin." Additionally, Rolling Stone's 4/5 star review declared Case "Indie's greatest singer" while Spin's 9 out of 10 review stated, "America may need Neko Case's back-to-nature fantasias more than ever." The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, the highest debut of the year for an independent release. The tour will see Case perform in some of the largest venues of her career, backed by her core band of Paul Rigby (guitar), Tom V. Ray (bass), Kelly Hogan (vocals), Jon Rauhouse (guitar) and Barry Mirochnick (drums). Elle magazine described Case’s live shows as "A little like being flattened by the sound of a jet as it passes overhead." Come experience firsthand Neko Case’s ability to connect - on an uncommonly deep and meaningful level - with her audience when she performs at the Greek on June 12! |
