Classic rock legends, The Allman Brothers Band and The Doobie Brothers will be co-headlining for two consecutive nights at the Greek Theatre on Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 20.

Celebrating their 40th anniversary, The Allman Brothers Band will be embarking on a U.S. tour billed as “40 Years of Highs & Lows.” Honorees of Billboard magazine’s “Legends of Live” award this past November, the band lived up to that title during a recent show at the Beacon Theatre in New York. The New York Times said of that performance, “The first half of the show was an affirmation of bedrock values, with some of the sturdiest songs from the Duane Allman era: “Statesboro Blues,” “Revival,” “Don’t Keep Me Wonderin,’ ” “Done Somebody Wrong.” Gregg Allman was in strong vocal form, and the rhythm section (also with the bassist Oteil Burbridge and the percussionist Marc Quiñones) chugged along expertly. Along the way, the band has accumulated multiple Grammy awards, numerous gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums in the U.S. Their string of radio hits include, "Listen to the Music," "Black Water," "China Grove,” “Long Train Running” and Takin’ It To The Streets.” In between tour dates, the Doobie Brothers can be found in the studio mixing their upcoming full-length album.
