THE GREEK THEATRE ANNOUNCE
2006 PREMIERE MARQUEE CLUB SEASON

Premiere Marquee Club Allows Fans to Package Their Own Concert Series

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 17, 2006) – Award winning venues, Gibson Amphitheatre (managed and booked by House of Blues) and The Greek Theatre (managed and booked by Nederlander Concerts) announce their joint 2006 Premiere Marquee Club (PMC) line up.  The 2006 PMC season once again brings an outstanding roster of music ranging from Jazz to Rock, Latin to R&B and Alternative to Country.

The Greek Theatre features the triumphant return of female rocker, Melissa Etheridge, country great Martina McBride, and Grammy® Award winner Bonnie Raitt.  Gibson Amphitheatre offers The “annual” Teen Choice Awards and two comedic powerhouses, Carlos Mencia and George Lopez.  In June, The Greek Theatre has Chicago with co-headliner Huey Lewis And The News and popular singer-songwriter Fiona Apple while Tony award winning Kristin Chenoweth performs in July. R & B balladeer, Keith Sweat will be at the Gibson Amphitheatre in June and the following month, country-rock sensation Linda Ronstadt performs.  Pop opera vocal quartet Il Divo will hit the stage at The Greek Theatre in June, Flamenco legends Gipsy Kings will perform for two nights in July and Latin music’s favorite romantic, Julio Iglesias will perform in August.  The year rounds out at Gibson Amphitheatre with Vicente Fernandez in November and the return of Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Extravaganza in December.

Fans may package individual shows to create their own concert series as part of the Premiere Marquee Club, the Gibson Amphitheatre and The Greek Theatre’s annual subscription program.  The program begins Friday, March 17 (today) with an order deadline of Friday, April 4.  This joint subscription program offers preferred seating locations and advance notice of upcoming shows year-round, plus several exclusive discounts and amenities.
